Inform your doctor if you have or have ever had :
use of alcohol(ethanol)
heart problems
kidney/liver disease
mania/bipolar disorder
anorexia/weight loss
attempted suicide
high blood pressure
It is very important for the patient to know that before consuming Cymbalta (Duloxetine) they must inform their health care professional if they have ever had a history of or are currently suffering from diabetes, abdominal bleeding, Narrow – Angle Glaucoma, slow emptying of the abdomen or low Sodium levels in the blood.
Moreover, it is very important for the patient to know that before consuming Cymbalta (Duloxetine) they must inform their health care professional if they have ever had a history of or are currently suffering from, severe dehydration, Hyponatremia (loss of excessive salt from the body), seizure disorders or blood clotting disorders.
It is also very important for the patient to be aware of the fact that Cymbalta (Duloxetine) may even pass into breast milk.
Store at room temperature between 68-77 degrees F (20-25 degrees C), away from heat and moisture.
Cymbalta Uses
Duloxetine, a selective serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI) is used in the treatment of depression.
Cymbalta (Duloxetine) is also used to treat symptoms of general anxiety disorders, Neuropathy (nerve pain caused by diabetes), stress urinary incontinence and Fibromyalgia.

Overdose
In case of overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911.
If you conceive whilst on a course with this medication inform your doctor immediately.
If you need to undergo any kind of surgery, inform your doctor you are taking this medicine.
Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, breast feeding or planning to conceive.
Avoid alcohol and alcohol containing beverages whilst on a course with this medication.
Do not treat yourself with OTC medication whilst on a course with this medication, without consulting with your health care professional.
Cymbalta Side effects
If you notice any of the symptoms listed below or any other symptoms which seem severe/persistent contact your doctor immediately.
unexplained `flu-like` symptoms
vomiting
yellowing of your skin/the whites of your eyes
suicidal thoughts
stomach pain/tenderness
dark/brown urine
difficulty breathing
fainting spells
itching/ rash
mania
inability to sleep
restlessness
Sometimes, Cymbalta (Duloxetine) may even cause nausea, a dry mouth, constipation, over reactive reflexes, a loss of appetite and severe fatigue.
Cymbalta (Duloxetine) may even cause increased sweating, drowsiness, blurred vision, dizziness, increased yawning and body tremors.
Moreover, Cymbalta (Duloxetine) may even cause one to show a disinterest in sex, certain difficulties while urinating, changes in their sexual abilities, changes in the amounts of urine passed, unexpected weight loss and tarry stools.
Cymbalta (Duloxetine) may even cause easy bruising, seizures, palpitations, the Serotonin syndrome, low fever and one to go into a coma state.

Cymbalta (Duloxetine) interacts with various medications, such as, Tranylcypromine, Fluvoxamine, Thioridazine, Cimetidine, Perphenazine and Propafenone.
Cymbalta (Duloxetine) further still interacts with various medications, such as, Flecainide, Quinidine, Ciprofloxacin, Desipramine, Fluoxetine and Imipramine.

Missed Dose
